Our no-nonsense plaiting mousse is designed to dampen and hold like no other!

An extreme hold mousse that is tacky when damp to provide superior grip. Once dry, it does not leave any white residue.

For best results:

• Shake well before use
• Apply a small amount to a dry or damp section of mane
• Work through the hair from roots to ends and plait as required

Ingredients: Aqua, Betaine, Hydrolyzed Whole Wheat Protein, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, Vitamin B5, Vitamin E, Polyurethane-14, Amp-Acrylates, Copolymer, Fragrance.

A concentrated no-rinse wash to remove grease and leave a clean coat. 

For best results:
Shake well before use and use the Hot Cloth method below.

• If the coat is greasy or prior to clipping during the winter, use approx. 10ml of the Hot Cloth Wash to approx. 500ml of very warm water.
• Apply to the coat with a well wrung out flannel or suede feel cloth, and wipe all over the body or just the areas that need cleansing.
• The Hot Cloth Wash contains ingredients that will help to disperse the grease and get to the skin, allowing a thorough cleanse.
• Natural grain spirit and Witch Hazel extract are the key ingredients that act as an astringent and lift the grease with ease.
• Spearmint and Tea Tree oil cleanse and invigorate giving a refreshing healthy treatment prior to further grooming or clipping.
• Once the coat has been hot clothed all over, leave to dry naturally. There is no need to rinse.

For added shine and condition once the coat is clean - consider Super Shine lotion for a high shine show ring finish, and apply using the Hot Cloth method above.

Smart Grooming Black Magic Horse Shampoo is a colour enhancing shampoo that will improve and give added shine to all hair and coat types, but is particularly suited to black and dark colours.

This luxurious, concentrated shampoo will wash as well as condition, and will give extra shine.

This product is suitable for sensitive skin. Can be used neat or diluted directly onto the coat.

EXTREME CLEAN BRUSH

The Smart Grooming Extreme Clean Horse Grooming Brush is made from high quality, densely packed hog bristles which work deep and effectively into the coat to remove dirt or stains.

Smart Grooming Peppermint Horse Shampoo is a deep cleansing shampoo with added peppermint essential oils to cut through the grease and dirt within the coat to promote healthy skin and a hydrated coat. 

A refreshing and conditioning formula to give a high-shine finish.

Can be used neat or diluted directly onto the coat.

The Smart Grooming Pro Levelling Knife is a handy levelling and thinning knife for humanely tidying manes or tails as required, it gives a level finish and is also good to use down the backs of legs for thinning excess hair.

The new design has an extra wide blade for making it easier and more effective for tidying and is ideal to use in conjunction with our Smart Manes thinning rake for a totally humane way to keep manes and tails under control.

Now available in both fine (original) and coarse grades. The finer blade is most suited to soft and finer manes as the teeth are shorter and closer together. The coarse grade and fold up knives are better for natives and cob types

Also good for thinning and stripping dog coats.

Directions for use:

For best results, take a small section of hair at a time, back comb until you are holding just a few hairs.  Then use the blade to slice off the ends. Brush out, repeat up and down the mane. 

Smart Grooming’s Leg and Body Whitener is a chalk based powder that creates absolute whiteness on socks and other white areas and is particularly good when used in conjunction with Deep Purple shampoo or Polar White for achieving the whitest socks imaginable! 

Apply with a damp sponge and dip into the powder.  Apply to body and leg areas where required.  Leave to dry and then remove excess with a clean brush.  Can be used the night before a show and then apply leg bandages or wraps.

Smart Grooming Lavender shampoo, is a rich conditioning horse shampoo with essential oils of lavender, making bath time relaxing. 

Promotes healthy skin and leaves a high shine finish.  This product is suitable for sensitive skin and can also act as an insect repellent.  Can be used neat or diluted directly onto the coat.

Deep Purple Whitening Shampoo

This is an enhanced formula for horses and ponies to give a super white finish.

Smart Grooming Deep Purple Shampoo is a conditioning shampoo that helps to neutralise and lift yellow and stubborn stable and grass stains.  This superb shampoo is gentle but effective and contains essential oils of lavender to soothe sensitive skins. Can be applied neat or diluted depending on the severity of staining. 

For very yellow tails, use neat and directly on the tail. Rub the hair together and lather in well, leave on for a few minutes, rinse and repeat. Spin tail to get worst of the water out, and then apply Smart Grooming's Super Shine lotion or spray in "Tame the Mane".  Then brush out carefully and leave to dry.  This will then protect the hair from further staining.
