An enhanced formula for horses and ponies to give a super white finish.

Smart Grooming Deep Purple Shampoo is a conditioning shampoo that helps to neutralise and lift yellow and stubborn stable and grass stains.  This superb shampoo is gentle but effective and contains essential oils of lavender to soothe sensitive skins. Can be applied neat or diluted depending on the severity of staining. 

For very yellow tails, use neat and directly on the tail. Rub the hair together and lather in well, leave on for a few minutes, rinse and repeat. Spin tail to get worst of the water out, and then apply Smart Grooming's Super Shine lotion or spray in "Tame the Mane".  Then brush out carefully and leave to dry.  This will then protect the hair from further staining.

Smart Grooming Splosh Wash for horses and ponies is a refreshing but invigorating everyday wash off lotion to cool and soothe tired muscles as well as making removal of sweat, mud and dirt quick and easy.

Lavender is again added to this product to aid with soothing and recovery after exercise.  Can be used diluted (mix a capful in a bucket of warm water) or neat to disperse bruising.  No need to rinse.  Avoid using on broken skin or sensitive areas.

Smart Grooming Peppermint Splosh Wash is a deep cleansing and refreshing everyday wash off lotion to cool and cleanse the coat, removing any sweat, dirt or grease effectively.

A blend of witch hazel and oil of peppermint ensures a soothing and revitalising wash off for your horse or pony.

Simply mix a capful of Peppermint Splosh Wash into a bucket of water and wash down, there is no need to rinse!

Smart Grooming's Polar White is a spectacular stain remover spray for horses which will help achieve instant whiteness.  It has been designed to lift stable and grass stains as well as to remove stubborn discolouration on feathers, socks and tails when used as a spray shampoo.

A clear, fresh smelling spray, giving excellent results on white and light coloured body areas. 

For best results: damp the dirty or stained area first then apply the spray directly or onto a sponge.  Brush or massage in well.  Leave for 5 minutes.  Rinse out.  For really stubborn stains repeat procedure.  For yellow tails, dip tail in warm water, spray liberally and massage in well.  Leave for 5 minutes and then rinse and shampoo as normal.  We recommend using with our Deep Purple whitening shampoo, which conditions and whitens stubborn areas too.

The little pot of blue!

Smart Grooming Super Blue is the little pot of blue to use diluted on manes, tails and bodies, to give added brightness to whites and greys. 

A concentrated enhancer for whites in powder formula

Dilute ¼ teaspoon of Super Blue powder in approx. 3 litres of warm water. Stir well and then apply to areas.  For tails, dip directly into the bucket and leave for no more than 30 seconds.  For maximum effect, shampoo with Deep Purple and rinse off after.

Smart Grooming’s Leg and Body Whitener is a chalk based powder that creates absolute whiteness on socks and other white areas and is particularly good when used in conjunction with Deep Purple shampoo or Polar White for achieving the whitest socks imaginable! 

Apply with a damp sponge and dip into the powder.  Apply to body and leg areas where required.  Leave to dry and then remove excess with a clean brush.  Can be used the night before a show and then apply leg bandages or wraps.

It is really brilliant to use on sensitive horses, and is particularly good to use around the head and eyes where mud can get stuck on and brush bristles are not always appreciated! Being made of flexible recycled polypropylene it contours to the shape of legs and awkward areas. 

Also good to use as a clothes brush for removing pet hair from furniture and car seats.  Altogether an all round brilliant product which we love!

Smart Grooming Stain Removal Set

Remove those stains the quick , effective and gentle way. These three products will be all you need to keep those stains at bay. For a whiter than white finish, damp all stained/dirty areas. Apply Polar white and massage in with the Super Groomer. Rinse off and then apply Deep Purple, lather in well, and then rinse. Deep Purple is a rich, conditioning and whitening shampoo but can also be used on all colours. Brings a rich shine to dark coats too. Enjoy!

Clippersharp's Pre Clip Wash for horses is an astringent based no rinse body wash for effective grease removal both prior to and after clipping. Containing Witch Hazel, Tea Tree and Spearmint this wash is ideal from sensitive skins and can also be used for removing sweat and grease after exercise.

Can be used diluted or undiluted. To dilute, add a squirt of Pre Clip Wash into a shallow bucket of hot water. Apply with a sponge or cloth to all areas as required.

If used for hot clothing, dip into a bucket of hot water with a few drops of Super Shine lotion.  Wring cloth out so it is just damp.   Wipe well into the coat, re-applying as necessary.

Smart Grooming Feather Flour is a quality fine wood flour for use on feathered horses.

Designed to enhance, add volume and dry legs, Feather Flour is perfect for after bathing to 'fluff' up the look of the feathers for the show ring. If used on a regular basis, this will also help the feathers and skin to remain in healthy condition.  

For best results use in conjunction with Feather White on dry legs to add volume to the hair. Scoop a cup into the hands and rub into feathers, Repeat, using generously as needed.

Designed to enhance, whiten and dry, while adding volume to feathers, Feather White is great for weekly maintenance and show ring preparation.
