I purchased both the natural and black hoof shine, just the small bit and fell immediately in love. Compared to the Absorbine hoof polish I typically use, this product is far less messy to apply, healthier for the hooves and lasts far longer! I opted to use a hoof brush for application, a little goes a LONG way, for the price point (even in USD) it's a deal. For someone like myself who grooms on an every day and show basis at a busy 40 horse property, getting the best/most for my buck is quite important.
Another big think I was pleasantly suprised by was how good it is for the horses hooves. Most oils and polishs dry out the hoof and cause cracking. Hoof Shine does the opposite, nourishing the hoof while giving the ultimate turnout apperance. With that, I wasn't afraid to accidentally touch the coronet and cause harm.
I actually rode after application (in both colors) to see how well the product lasts. It stuck like a glove, dirt didn't cake on too badly. The shine does fade out gradually towards the toe but that was to be expected considering it has rained the past 3 days.
The only thing I wasn't too keen on was that the oil doesn't dry entirely, so if you brush your hand over it (with pressure, more than to knock of some dirt) the oil will come off on your hand. This isn't a huge deal with the natural color, moreso the black.
Overall, a great product I plan on purchasing again!
