The Hauptner standard clipper blades leave 2-3mm of hair and would be suitable for the following when clipping horses:

  • The first clip of the season
  • Clipping pink skinned horses
  • Clipping naturally thick/coarse coated horses

Blade identification numbers:   (Top) Cutter - 86833 & (Bottom) Comb - 86872

These blades will fit all Hauptner clippers with exception to the Hauptner 3000 as these clippers take Liveryman/Wolseley type blades. 

Hauptner clipper blades are manufactured in Germany from high quality steel.

These Hauptner clipper blades are only suitable for use with the Hauptner 2000 or the Hauptner 07 Rapide.

These blades can be re-sharpened.
