Clipping Essentials

This fine clipping oil is made with bactericide to help prevent cross infection. A gentle lavender scent provided by essential oils gives this clipping oil a pleasant added extra. 

Suitable to use with Dogs, Cats, Cattle, Horses and is particularly useful for animals with sensitive skin and can be used with all makes of clipper and blades.

Clippersharp's Pre Clip Wash for horses is an astringent based no rinse body wash for effective grease removal both prior to and after clipping. Containing Witch Hazel, Tea Tree and Spearmint this wash is ideal from sensitive skins and can also be used for removing sweat and grease after exercise.

Can be used diluted or undiluted. To dilute, add a squirt of Pre Clip Wash into a shallow bucket of hot water. Apply with a sponge or cloth to all areas as required.

The Liveryman Classic is a quiet but powerful small machine which is ideal for trimming horses and clipping dogs.

The Classic trimmer has a range of add on plastic combs for grading as well as a blade adjustment at the back which gives an adjustable cutting height from 0.8-2.0mm. The Ultimate High Shine Lotion

Smart Grooming Super Shine is a concentrated high gloss, non oil based lotion for use on all body areas and manes and tails too, as a final finish before entering the show ring.  This multi-purpose lotion can be used as a high lighter, a mix for make up or used for “hot clothing” with hot water, as a final finish for the ultimate shine.  It doesn’t attract dust or dirt – so shine is guaranteed all day. 

Our high shine products enhance a naturally healthy coat without giving artificial shine and residue that can come from oil-based products. Our sprays and lotions include essential extracts and synthetic ingredients to ensure slide and shine, making them perfect for giving you a high shine finish. Once on the coat, they are dry to the touch.

Squeeze a small amount into the palms of your hands and then work through the mane and tail. Alternatively use directly on a sponge and wipe over evenly or for “hot clothing” with a cloth and hot water.  Also great to use after clipping for final finish as a hot cloth wash to bring out the shine.

Available with a blue suede feel cloth, or with a red microfibre cloth.

Smart Grooming Splosh Wash for horses and ponies is a refreshing but invigorating everyday wash off lotion to cool and soothe tired muscles as well as making removal of sweat, mud and dirt quick and easy.

Lavender is again added to this product to aid with soothing and recovery after exercise.  Can be used diluted (mix a capful in a bucket of warm water) or neat to disperse bruising.  No need to rinse.  Avoid using on broken skin or sensitive areas.

Available in 500ml, 1 litre or 5 litre

Smart Grooming Peppermint Splosh Wash is a deep cleansing and refreshing everyday wash off lotion to cool and cleanse the coat, removing any sweat, dirt or grease effectively.

A blend of witch hazel and oil of peppermint ensures a soothing and revitalising wash off for your horse or pony.

Simply mix a capful of Peppermint Splosh Wash into a bucket of water and wash down, there is no need to rinse!

If used for hot clothing, dip into a bucket of hot water with a few drops of Super Shine lotion.  Wring cloth out so it is just damp.   Wipe well into the coat, re-applying as necessary.
