We support a range of established and up-and-coming riders to help them achieve success in their chosen disciplines and appoint new appoint Brand Ambassadors on a yearly basis to promote and use our products.

Devon based, Isabelle and her team mate , Diptford Morning Haze, have had an incredible couple of seasons. They have worked their way up from clear rounds to BE100 and have continue their winning ways with 4 out of 6 ODE’s in 2018, achieving new personal bests each time! Isabelle turns Haze out to the highest of standards and is often complimented on this by the dressage judges
East Devon based Imogen Carter set up her own business in 2018, Equine and Pet Services, while also competing her own horse, Ardo Z to CCI- S2* level. The partnership have gone from strength to strength over the last 4 years, picking up the 100 Riding Club National Eventing Championship and winning the BE Novice at Bicton Arena last year.
Once Immy left school she gained her level 2 and 3 Horse Care and Management Qualifications from Kingston Mauward Agricultural College and her level 2 & 3 BHS exams in horse care and riding.
16 year old, Gracie is a national level showing and dressage rider from Buckingham. Following some super wins at the SSADL Veteran Final at Olympia and Petplan U21s National Elementary Champion, this season is looking very bright with a team of 5 horses to compete. Grace found Smart Grooming at Your Horse Live and has come to love the products, especially the products which are compliant with SSADL ruling.
Michele and her team of coloured horses regularly compete in traditional and non-native coloured classes and have qualified for HOYS on a number of occasions.
She also enjoys dressage working towards Affiliated British Dressage Elementary, promoting the coloureds at this high standard!
With all that HAIR, her favourite product is the Tame The Mane detangler, to get back the control of big fluffy, tangled or frizzy manes. It is also handy for repelling mud in the winter to keep thick feathers and hair tangle free!
Laura is a very talented British Dressage Rider. She recently finished 7th at the Summer National Dressage Championships in the medium silver class on her main horse Sam The Man Veldhoek and intends to qualify for the Winter and Summer nationals this year.
Perfect Plaits is one of Laura's competition essentials. She also uses Super Shine on a daily basis to moisturise her horses coats and keep them in top condition.
Jenny has worked with horses for more than 15 years and has set up her own, very successful, freelance grooming business.
Over the years, she has groomed for many people who compete in a wide variety of disciplines. She loves what she does no matter the weather, as it provides her with great job satisfaction; whether it’s a happy owner after she’s clipped and trimmed their horse or a horse that she’s turned out performing well.
Jenny has great clients who let her try all types of Smart Grooming products on their horses, she will be out grooming at local and county shows this season and feels proud to watch a horse perform at their best knowing that she had a part to play in their success.
Lara is 18, from Ayrshire. Lara and her mum, Arlene have been Smart Grooming Brand Ambassadors since 2016 when they bought a novice ISRT, Dowhills Final Fling aka ‘Sid’. They have slowly worked away with him and in 2018 stood RIHS INT Champion at Ayr County Show. Having just qualified for RIHS, they are now working towards HOYS.
Lara’s favourite Smart Grooming products are Super Shine Oil because of its versatility from Hot Oiling to enhancing and Quarter Marking Spray, as it is the only one that they have found that doesn’t attract dust. It leaves the marks looking clean and professional, that last for the whole show day!
Lucie and her horses Ice and Mickey live in Surrey and competes in eventing and dressage at riding club level with her ultimate goal being to compete at Badminton Grassroots. Lucie has supported Smart Grooming tirelessly on social media, which hasnt gone unnoticed and we were delighted to meet her when she popped in at BETA. Not only does she compete both her horses Lucie also works full time as a Diplomat in London’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Bedfordshire based, Lauren and her four legged partner Mega compete in a range of disciplines but has recently come to love dressage the most. They are currently competing at Prelim level and currently sitting at the top of their regional MyQuest leader board, there is also hopes to be competing in their first season in BE80/90 this year. You may also know Lauren through her social media channels as Adventures of Megatron, where she documents the highs and lows of the partnership.
Amber is an talented amateur Eventer who is hoping to compete at Advanced level this season with one of her horses and Novice with her little horse.
She has produced both her horses herself and has achieved a top 10 placing at the Pony Club Open Championships and a 100% clear XC record at Intermediate. She has also ridden round Burghley Horse Trial's main arena in the ROR class.
Amber is a fan of our Lavender Splosh Wash and Shampoo but says that our Smart Tails are a must have!
Northern Ireland based, Ellie works as a student nurse and runs her own clipping and grooming business, Pristine Ponies while competing her 3 ponies.
Ellie’s main ride, Castlederg is a grey riding horse who she also competes as a Intermediate Show Riding Type and Side Saddle. Together they have had huge success including winning the Dublin Horse Show in 2017. Ellie has high hopes in her new novice Connemara Chapper, who she aims to educate throughout the year, ready to contest in qualifiers.
Becca is head girl for Brazilian rider, Marcio Jorge based in Wiltshire. Becca has been using the Smart Grooming range for years after spending two years as head girl for Mary King, who has been supporting the brand from very early on. Becca will be accompanying Marcio Jorge to compete globally as well as helping with the preparation in hand for his Olympic hopefuls.
Buckinghamshire based Lauren has been working as an international groom for many 5* riders such as Rodrigo Pessoa and Jane Richard Phillips for the last couple of years but has now relocated back to the family yard. Lauren works full time as a freelance, clipping and turning out horses for clients in the showing, show jumping, eventing and dressage world.
Amy, 25, is based in Liverpool with her 2 ponies; Skye and Katy and competes in Affiliated British Dressage, as well as riding former successful show pony, Leo.
When Amy bought Skye, she was in poor condition, a rescue case. With a bit of love and care, within a year, Amy and Skye qualified for the Petplan Area Festivals, Petplan Semi-Finals, Coloured Horse Championships and the Sheepgate U25s Championships! Their journey has been very special and the aim to keep on enjoying themselves! Amy also has high hopes for Katy, at only 4 years, they are taking things very slow due to her being the ‘sassiest’ horses ever and to let her grow and mature
Professional groom, Amelia, trained at Talland School of Equestrian before working for international event rider Nicola Wilson. Amelia has now branched out and set up her own business, Prestige Equine, based in Northumberland, as well as competing her own and clients horses.
Amelia was first introduced to or brand with our initial product, the Smart Tails Rake. She then added the plaiting collection and more trimming essentials , solidifying her love for Smart Grooming
Event and dressage rider, Katie houses 32 horses at her home in the Yorkshire Wolds. All the horses that compete are either home bred or home produced and compete to a high level across the country. Over the last year she has competed in 33 BE runs, 7 of which were wins and the rest top 10 placings. We look forward to following Katie journey with 4 horses qualified for the BD Winter Regional Finals, 2 qualified for the BE Winter championships and 3 qualified for the Badminton Grassroots Championships this year.
20 year old, Yorkshire based, Victoria, has her work cut out for her! 6 out of her 8 horses are coloureds, who regularly compete in British Dressage and CHAPS Showing.
Victoria has had huge success with her main ride, 11 year old mare Rubiks Cube (Ruby) since owning her since a 3 year old. Together they came 4th in the Search for a Star Final at HOYS, 2nd at the BD Summer Regionals qualifying for the BD Summer Nationals, represented England in the BD Youth Home Internationals and took many top placings in the Pony Club Championships.
Due to the amount of white she needs to clean, her favourite Smart Grooming product is the Leg and Body Whitener as it provides plenty of coverage and the whitest finish. Its versatility means it can be used as a paste which she uses on her Non-Native Coloureds or as a powder on the fluffier Traditional Coloureds legs.
Isle of Man based Lily says her 18h Irish draught, Gordon, is her horse of a lifetime. They compete in everything from showing, show jumping or even polo! Lily also competes in the SSADL Veteran series and visits England to compete throughout the year in aims to qualify for the finals.
