Smart Grooming Flat Waxed Plaiting Thread is a must-have for anyone who prefers to sew in plaits and wants a neat, secure finish. Coated with a light layer of wax, the thread is easy to work with and much easier to thread through the needle, while also helping it stay taut as you sew.

The flat shape gives extra grip, strength and tension, helping you create firm, tidy plaits and braids that hold their shape well. Best used alongside the Blunt Ended Plaiting Needles, and for easy removal, the Quick Unpick.

At 0.8mm thick, this plaiting thread is strong enough for regular use and is available in 90m small rolls or 270m large rolls, depending on how much you use.

It also comes in a wide range of colours to suit different manes, including Black, Dark Brown, Chestnut, White, Iron Grey, Flaxen and Cremello.
