Lip and Bit Balm

Helps to add lubrication around the horses mouth, which is really handy for horses with sensitive skin. Replenishes cracked skin too. Smells lovely and the majority of our horses want to lick the pot! Also doubles up as a good lip balm too, if you are at a show all day.

Helps to protect the skin from becoming cracked or flaky - especially helpful for horses with fleshy mouths.

My horse has a sensitive mouth but is strong. He also doesn't salivate a huge amount so I bought this balm in helps to use when bitting to stop his lips splitting and cracking when he has a bit in.
It's worked so well and his splits have all bit disppeared and the minty taste encourages natural salivation so it's a win win in keeping his mouth lubricated and free of the friction that causes the splits in the corners of his mouth.

Highly recommend and I've used a small pot for myself and it's great to stop dry chapped lips and tastes and smells amazing!

I was pleasantly suprised by the scent and texture of the product! I ride a multitude of training and sales horses as do they get ridden fairly regularly by myself and the head trainer. With this, lips can get dry and sensitive when we are determing which bits and training aids work best.

I used the balm on one of our mouthier horses and immediately noticed a difference just tacking up! She really loved the flavor and scent, opened her mouth right up! On a sidenote: the lip and bit balm really accentuated her lips over the bit, she looked dashing!

She was very accepting of the bit during our ride and the product was still doing it's job post-ride, it doesn't wear off easily! As a matter of fact, a friend of mine used some herself! Said it worked well on horses and humans alike!
